Krav Maga is an extremely modern and practical system of self-defense that is widely known as the art of self-defence  Krav Maga is not a martial art, but more a eclectic combination of fighting styles and defensive moves suited for real life application.

Krav Maga isn't about learning how to fight in a ring or cage, it’s very much about anti violence and using physical force under threat,  At IKMS we teach people to go home alive no matter what the situation. Krav Maga is an on the street reality survival system, teaching personal safety in the context of defending against both armed and unarmed attackers.

Krav Maga combines instinct based self-defense tactics, with a solid fighting curriculum that trains aggressiveness, fighting spirit, situational awareness, and verbal de-escalation of conflict. The history of Krav Maga's  anti-terrorist roots mean that it's aggressive by design, there is only one objective, to eliminate the threat in the fastest way possible. Kraal Maga is a highly refined, street fighting system, designed to be used against street attacks, muggings, and sexual assaults.

There are no rules in Kraal Maga, it's not a sport and you don't get points for striking correctly.   When a person is attacked on the street, it's impossible to know how many attackers there might be, or if your attackers have weapons, therefor the Krav Maga system is based on a system without rules. Kev Maga emerged during the second world war, when extreme violence was common, the system has been continually refined and developed in light of actual modern day combat and self-defense experiences. Krav Maga has a unique approach in bringing self defense to civilian, military, and law enforcement alike.

A lot of people study a particular Martial to look after myself. The fact is that  most Martial Arts in their traditional form are not a realistic self defense systems – and were never designed to be.  The main issues is that many martial arts involve rules to prevent illegal moves and foul play; and that is how it should be, the main difference is that, most martial arts that are formal, ritual-oriented, and difficult to learn, however Krav Maga is all about fighting dirty and learning no-holds-barred moves in a realistic environment.
